# Answer3 Vault

> Answer3 Vault is an iOS app that builds a "digital home passport." The owner photographs a manufacturer nameplate (furnace, water heater, refrigerator, pool pump, and so on) and an AI scanner records the brand, model, serial number and age. The app then attaches the exact-fit replacement parts and maintenance intervals for that unit, and with one tap can send a fully specified service request to a contractor in the Answer3 Partner Network. It is made by Answer 3 Solutions LLC, a New Jersey company founded by Jason Strauss.

## Who it is for

- Standard (free): AI scanning turns on when the owner shares their location, with 3 AI assets and 10 AI scans in any module and no time limit. It includes everything except the Quantum AI assistant.
- PRO ($5/month or $50/year): one primary home (geofenced address), 25 AI assets and 40 AI scans across every module, the Quantum AI assistant (an AI chat assistant that answers questions about the owner's own equipment), lifecycle reminders, weekly CPSC recall checks, household sync, Vision AI reading of up to 50 receipts and service invoices (store, total, date and the work done, saved to the unit's service log) and one tap to the exact part on Amazon. PRO users can link a contractor for every trade and switch contractors anytime; free accounts set up by a contractor stay linked to that one contractor.
- Landlords, investors and owners of several homes: an in-app upgrade to Manager Fleet ($50/month) adds unlimited properties, 100 AI assets, 150 AI scans, bulk CSV import, Vision AI reading of up to 500 receipts and invoices, and a Schedule E tax ledger.
- Manual entries are unlimited on every plan, even with location off. AI asset and AI scan allowances are totals for the account, not monthly.
- Contractors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pool and more): the Partner Network is free to join, with no monthly fee, after license and service-area verification. Partners pay $50 per service request. Their customers get the app free through the partner's QR flyer or invite link, and each request goes only to that partner by text alert and email, with the equipment's brand, model, serial, age, the reported issue, a nameplate photo and the parts list. Contractors don't need to use the app.

## How it works

1. Scan: photograph the equipment's data plate. Brand, model, serial and manufacture date are saved to an asset card.
2. Map: the System Blueprint attaches the OEM filters, belts and wear parts for that exact model.
3. Maintain: lifecycle reminders say when each consumable is due, and an activity ledger records installs.
4. Source: one tap opens the exact-fit part on Amazon. Answer 3 Solutions earns Amazon Associate commissions on these orders.
5. Dispatch: when the owner taps "Request Service," the asset's specs go to the one partner contractor they are linked to. Requests are only ever sent when the owner asks; none are generated automatically from equipment age. If the owner reports a gas smell, a CO alarm or sparking, the app tells them to leave and call 911 instead of sending a request.

## What it is not

- Not an energy-monitoring or real-time telemetry dashboard.
- Not a home-value or personal-finance app.
- Not a shared lead board where several contractors bid on the same job.
