Why I built it
“Nobody in my house knew how old the furnace was, what filter it took, or whether the water heater had a recall.”
Most homes run on equipment nobody can name. The details live on a faded sticker in the basement, so every repair starts with a diagnostic visit, a parts run and a second trip. Homeowners pay for that guesswork, and good local shops lose margin to lead sites that sell the same job to five companies.
Answer3 Vault fixes the record at the source. Scan the plate once and the home has a permanent passport for that unit. When something breaks, one tap sends the model, serial, age and nameplate photo to the homeowner's own pro, who shows up with the right part.
